Greetings!

Josie, thanks for the compliment! I am a Traditional Foods member and am

the main pediatric (infant through age 21) provider at Newbridge Clinic and

fully advocate (and personally practice) a whole foods, traditional WAPF

diet and green living, as part of my practice. I personally brew and drink

Kombucha, soak/sprout legumes and the minimal GF grains my family eats, make

homemade cultured veggies and fermented foods, etc. so I get the effort that

goes into these practices when recommending them to patients.

I have a great background in general pediatrics from my years of experience

at Children's Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis and Children's in

Oakland, CA, and though my original training and experience was pretty

traditional, I have always been into nutrition, and since my original

training, I have received (and continue to receive) ongoing education and

training through multiple progressive, holistic organizations, including the

Institute for Functional Medicine, the Autism Research Institute, MN

Holistic Physicians, WAPF, ACAM, and many others.

As a side note, Newbridge Clinic is an out-of-network provider and we do

submit electronically to insurance, and use traditional CPT codes for

billing, thus maximizing reimbursement for patients. Depending on the

insurance plan, and out-of-network benefits of each person's health

insurance coverage, our services are quite affordable for many people. In

addition to traditional lab testing, we also offer specialty/functional

testing for nutritional imbalances and deficiencies, food allergies and

intolerances, digestive issues, chronic and acute toxicity and more, many of

which are covered to a great extent by insurance.

Happy, healthy eating and living to you all!

All the best,

Belseth MAN, CPNP
