Guest guest
Hi Carol, Sorry to confuse you - I saw Will's post and wanted to offer my recent experience along the same lines. I was just speaking to my personal experience with a root infection of unknown origin-I don't accept the dentist's contention that my only recourse is to extract or have a root canal. I have no idea about a cracked tooth, but it would seem to be another matter altogether. The crack could allow foreign matter into the tooth, and I would think that pressure on the tooth could keep splitting it apart. Long ago I had a cracked tooth and had a crown put on, but didn't like the fact that they ground the tooth down to nothing to fit the crown on top.
