Guest guest
Good morning everybody, As an effort to consolidate our efforts, I am trying to put together a spreadsheet that shows which House and Senate members have been contacted concerning our raw milk situation and what their responses have been. When completed, it will give us a good idea where we've been and where we need to go. Please email me privately with this info: Who did you contact, when and how (email, phone, face-to-face). What was the response you received? Our goal is to hit up every district in the state and bring awareness to the people who represent us. If we can develop an organized way to keep track of this, we can be more effective. To date, I have only a short list of reps who have been contacted. I am hoping that I'm missing a bunch. Thanks Susie
Guest guest
Susie, This is a great idea. There is someone in our group (Consumer Free Choice) also working on this. I'll get the contact information about who that is and send it to you. I encourage you to also come to the event on January 28th since it sounds like you are ver interesting in the issues we are working on and instead of recreating the wheel, you could use our wheel to get what you want accomplished! Hope you read the post I put in response to 's message " My poor farmer :-( " There will be training and information about what others in the community are doing so we can be organized and all giving the same message. It will make things more effective if we all have that same message to tell. We will have a workshop sort of training on the 28th before Mark McAfee's talk so sign up for his talk and you'll get the info on the training (I believe it will be from 1 - 5 on the 28th). Email me if you want a copy of the flyer to post in your community or go to the consumerforchoice.com website and read it (you probably can't pull it from there).
