Obviously off topic, but I have a bad tooth that has been filled 4 times in

7 years and has continually hurt since its last fill 6 months ago. The

filling keeps on cracking. I know the dentist is going to say root canal,

and after reading on how hazardous it is to leave a dead organ in your body,

and I thinking I might request it to be removed. :-( I am horrified of

being an old toothless woman. (those of you who know me I know are

laughing, and I admit I am laughing too.) What does everyone here do? DO

you extract or do the root canal and why?
