Guest guest
The confinement meat people and their hack, sell-out vet spokesperson who DEFENDS feeding antibiotics daily are still peddling their own anti-American propaganda, but people may be beginning to wake up.... needs to talk to us about saturated fat, but she's on a roll here. Will From today's Dairy Herd Management feature story... Nine months after giving misleading information on antibiotic use in farm animals, CBS News anchor Couric is at it again. This time, she falls in line with other liberal media, such as TIME and The New York Times, to criticize the government's supposed role in promoting cheese. In one of her " Notebook " segments, she calls Dairy Management Inc. an " offshoot of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, " as if USDA and Dairy Management Inc., which manages the dairy checkoff program, are working together to promote cheese consumption. " But the thing is, " she adds, " that extra cheese also adds heaping helpings of saturated fat and calories… at a time when the government is trying to combat childhood obesity. " What she fails to mention is that the cheese-promotion activities are funded by dairy producers through the checkoff, and no federal dollars are involved. All the USDA does is provide administrative oversight to make sure those funds are used within certain legal parameters. Her report comes just a few days after The New York Times article appeared.
