Guest guest
, Selling milk for pet use is fine, should be labeled as such but not a biggy. My milk is " sold " thru dairy shares so we don't have quite the same problems as other dairy people do and it seems to work out quite well. It also offers the share holders more rights to their animal and milk in legal terms since they are not buying anything but getting part of their share of the animal. Also, our inspector for the farmers market doesn't look at pet products as all. And she doesn't care if milk is sold for pet use at the market since she doesn't have to do anything with it and doesn't want anything to do with it! She is actually a very nice person and answers questions and gets answers if she doesn't know. Her opinion of raw anything is that is should be up to the consumer to make the choice and get the best quality they can.
