Guest guest
I make kimchi that isn't spicy and tastes good with almost everything! So, yes, I am serving that for Thanksgiving along with the old standards (whether anyone eats it is a whole other question - no one in my family is particularly daring)! Kari Fermented Foods? Anyone making or serving any fermented foods for Thanksgiving? Kathy
Guest guest
Yes I will. Not only do I love making it for everyone, we eat fermented foods at every meal. I am not making the traditional turkey, (sorry Alvin), but a pork tenderloin with raw sauerkraut, morel mushrooms and spaetzle. On the side we'll be having fermented carrots with dill. I have a root kimchi that we will also be sampling this evening and I'll have at the warehouse on Saturday. Locally grown squash baked with raw butter, chopped pecans and a pinch of salt. Cultured cream ontop of a apple gallet for desert with minnesota maple syrup. Happy Thanksgiving to all, especially to all those farmers who so lovingly grow, tend and raise our food. Many Thanks!
