South Texas Citrus is ready just in time to re-open our TFMN Warehouse!

It's harvest time at South Texas Organics near Mission TX and we are prepared to

help distribute their grapefruit, oranges and lemons once again (Especially good

orange crop this year). We'll be taking orders tomorrow at the TFMN Warehouse

farmers Market that goes from 10 am to 2 pm. Deadline for our first order is

Tuesday noon - 12/8/10. We have a small group meeting in the morning regarding a

date to re-open. My proposed schedule is for December 18th re-opening with more

about that on Sunday. You've been all too patient. Tx. This season has been very

good for winter squash at the Produce Acres Farm in central MN. If you recall

the high-brix asparagus and raspberries that they have provided in the past,

you'll enjoy their butternut, buttercup and acorn varieties @ under $1 per pound

– available at TFMN and along our route. Look for the citrus info in our files

as soon as I can manage that entry. This time of year, as we finally are able to

celebrate our return to operations at TFMN, let's remember what it takes to

The organic grapefruit that I have been buying at various places around the TC

lately have been just plain terrible. I have been longing for some good ones!
