Guest guest
Does anyone know, or has anyone heard a good explanation, why so many people these days have intolerance to grain or gluten? My diet is high in whole grains and I eat concentrated gluten (seitan)! I am grateful I have no problem with eating such carbohydrates. Macrobiotics suggests whole grains are the staff of life, the center of the diet. Yet some people cannot eat whole grains. I met a yoga teacher last night for whom that was true. Wheat allergy. Gave up eating wheat and felt sooooooo much better. What causes gluten intolerance? How can it be cured? Has anyone here had that? Seems tough if one can’t eat grain; but maybe they ate lots of refined grain. Anyway, I imagine someone on this list has run into this, has cured it, or has heard a macrobiotic teacher explain the cause and cure. Thanks! W.
