Guest guest
So sorry to read about your dog. I was unable to find a small animal vet to come out to put my dog down last year. Talked to a neighbor who runs a farm and he suggested I contact a large animal vet. They make barn calls all the time. I found an equine vet who was available to come the same day and humanely stop her suffering. I held her and she went to sleep in my arms, then stopped breathing. It was sad, but a very easy way to go. Kathy
Guest guest
Never thought of a large animal vet! Will check that out. Hard thing is she is showing no signs of pain but she is weak and sleeps most of the time. She still wants to play but she is too weak, she walks towards squirrels but can't chase them. She still loves to lay out side in the sun. But her body is giving out on her even if her heart is still wanting to do all her normal things. But I am thankful she has not shown any signs of pain, yet that would make it so much easier to do this if she was in pain. Guest guest
Jane Zubay in Cologne is an " in-home " vet. She used to have a clinic and now does everything at the home. > > Never thought of a large animal vet! Will check that out.
