Guest guest
Ds is 4. (My others range from 16 down to 9.) I've really not mentioned too much -- the bad tantruming, the 'shutdowns' where he falls to the ground, and the sensory issues and food aversions, all of which they've seen except for a full shutdown. They feel it's all behavioral, things he's choosing to do. I haven't mentioned a boatload of other things, just going on the reaction to what I did say. One mentioned autism to me, but then later said she felt it was just his way of getting attention and he could stop if we disciplined properly; so, when we got the autism dx, I didn't even say anything. We don't live close by, so contact is frequent but not to the point where it's worth hearing the 'I don't think that's it...' comments.
