Guest guest
, I have those same issues,, I have to fight to get out of the house too,, I have decided to take a Taiko Drumming Class that starts next month, I sure hope I will be up to the task as most anything makes me exhausted.. good luck hon,, billy lewis <bill0443@...> wrote:I won't use a cane because until I ABSOLUTELY have to because it is a psycological-macho thing. I feel like that if I use a cane or a chair then I am giving into my illness. I feel that minr was caused by my HepC Tx and I refuse to let HepC beat me in any way. Not being mobile causes me to want to stay at home all the time and has caused me to gain weight and that leads to depression. It is a never ending cycle. Guest guest
Judi, My fibro was induced by treatment. A lot of times with fibro, it affects areas of previos trauma. Like with mine, it made everything hurt, just like from a car accident I'd had about 18 mos before. My car died on a highway bridge with no shoulder, and another freeway merged right there. We were in a blind spot, so we knew we were going to get hit. Luckily, we went about 30 feet straight ahead, instead of being pushed into traffic. The work van hit us with his right bumper at about 60 mph, which probably is why we went straight. Anyone in the backseat wouldn't have made it. We were soooo lucky. Really, really sore, but very blessed. Sorry about the tangent. I went through physical therapy, and use pain meds. Fibro is also related to sleep disorder, and I take something for sleep that gives me horrible nightmares. It's been really interesting reading about all the people on CPAC machines. One of my rhuematoid doc's wanted me to take one, but I blew it off. Sounds like I made a BIG mistake! No insurance right now, but might have some in about a month, and then I can have a sleep study done. Take care, Jane ----- Original Message ----- Thanks Jane- I am seeing teh holistic DR in addition to the regular DR's. The joint pain came on with a rash. The derm did bloodwork, though I am not sure if they are looking at RA. I mentioned it. I hope it's not fibro...I know that is painful. How do you treat yours and is it a complication from the Hep C? I have so many questions, I just don't know where to start so please bear with me. Judi

Guest guest
lol,, well I guess we should get out occasionally, I know it makes me more depressed when Im stuck in the house all the time, but I get so exhausted if I have to go out everyday as well.. its hard to know what to do but I do know that IF I spend a lot of time taking parents to appointments, then I pay for it with extra fatigue but I cannnot let my husband do all the work! --- Jane <allaby@...> wrote: > Out of the house??? Guest guest
Jane IF you have no insurance, you can purchase the CPAP machine from the manufacturer as long as you have a prescription from you doc.. I rented mine because I had insurance but when I qualified for medicare, the VA insurance I had wouldnt pay for it anymore and the long story is that I ended up with oweing the rental place more than 1000 dollars and they wanted to sell me the machine for 1500,, so we took the rented machine back, and we purchased one from the manufacturer for around 500 dollars... so dont let anyone take advantage of you like the rental place tried to of me.. they waited until I owed them 1000 dollars before telling me that my insurance wouldnt pay for it anymore... I AM NOT paying them.. they are now leaving me alone! good luck hon jax --- Jane <allaby@...> wrote: > Judi, > > My fibro was induced by treatment.
