Guest guest
Pali Gardens Pali Gardens is Castle Medical Center's cafeteria, located in the hospital's lower level and open to the public. In keeping with the traditions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pali Gardens emphasizes good health. Several features distinguish Pali Gardens from the cafeterias in most hospitals: Although some of our dishes are made with dairy products or eggs, no meat at all is served. We emphasize fresh foods. At every meal, there is always a selection of cooked fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, and a salad bar. We take pride in not using dishes that are pre-prepared. Nearly all of our entrées are made from scratch. As much as possible, we use individual ingredients, not pre-packaged combinations. Although not all of our dishes are moderate in fat and sodium, we always offer something that is. We always offer at least one entrée that is strictly vegan—containing no dairy products or eggs. We know that not everyone is attuned to a healthful way of eating, and we do offer snacks and beverages in the cafeteria for everyone, but we encourage the public to come join us for a nutritious and economical alternative. The hours for Pali Gardens are: Breakfast: Mon.–Fri., 6:30–9 a.m. Closed holidays. Lunch: Daily, 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Dinner: Daily, 4:30–6:30 p.m. Snacks: Mon.–Fri., 6:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and Sat., Sun., and holidays, 11 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
