In fact, when I went, they didn't even look at the letter! It's an automatic exit pass service, where you can enter the rides via the exits and cut out the queues. Great for our kids who can't handle long waits! I don't know if their policies are the same, but I'll tell you our experience. They were GREAT!! I had a doctor's note, but when I went in, they would not look at it. I guess it has something to do with confidentiality or something. Anyway, they just asked me what he had, and how he was in lines. I told them his 'symptoms', that he could not wait, had tantrums, hit people, etc., and they gave us an exit pass, which allowed him, and up to 5 other people to ride with him. All we had to do was take this pass to the exit gate of the ride, and they let us on the next cycle of the ride. We didn't have to wait longer than 2 minutes for any ride! We were able to go on every ride, some 2 or 3 times, and had no tantrums! And they also let us bring in our own food for him. All in all, it was one of the best days we have ever had with our son, and the workers there were very nice, pleasant and accomodating. Like I said, this was in Disneyland, not Disneyworld, but I would think their policies would be the same since they are the same company. But just to be safe, I would get a doctor's note saying his Dx, and his issues just in case they do want to see it there. I hope this helps, and have fun! Guest guest Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 Hi~ We went to Disneyworld in Aug 2003 and we got a Guest Assistance Pass with no trouble. We had it just in case we needed it, but the lines were not long for the attractions we wanted to see, and we used Fast Pass for a few things. There were a lot of things our son did not want to go on -- fear of the unknown, I think, which leads me to my tip. Our son (10 at the time) was very apprehensive about going, even to the point of wanting to stay home, when I realized it was because he didn't know what to expect when we got there. So, I went to http://allearsnet.com/ and printed out pictures of what our resort looked like, what our room would look like, what the parks looked like, even what some of the vehicles for the rides looked like. I also printed maps of the parks ( loves maps). I put all of the pictures in a report folder and presented it to him. Once he started looking through the folder, he began to get excited about going, and we were sure to answer any questions that came up. I hope this helps someone - I know it made our trip easier!
