Guest guest Posted November 17, 2010 Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 We grate turnips and potatoes (equal amounts) and squeeze as dry as possible (a flour sack works well). Add to this, a little onion, any variety, and mix in well. Cook in butter in a seasoned cast iron skillet. Makes superb hash browns. I add leeks to bone stocks.
