Guest guest
I've posted before how much I love the nonconsumer advocate - she's so honest and down to earth. On one hand, all humanity is connected and I think many of us feel inclined to want to help others be better. Otoh, there's nothing worse than a reformed drunk - a pushy person who's always telling others what to do, who thinks only he/she is right. It's quite a balancing act, because improvement does have a ripple effect, but so does disease. But wanting to help others and judging others is a more difficult balancing act - nobody wants to be judged, criticized. I'm sure there are some who are very talented at being able to "correct" others, there are many who are wonderful teachers - but that's just one side of the equation - the student has to want or be ready to learn. http://thenonconsumeradvocate.com/2010/06/june-food-stamp-challenge-day-nine-judgement-day/ Klara
