Guest guest
those 2 blenders will liquify zucchini and cabbage pretty quick. you need a food processor with a grater disk - those work quite well. > > can you shred or grate zucchini and cabbage in either one? Guest guest
I don't know about zucchini, but I have made cole slaw with my Vitamix, it has a very low speed on the low end of the dial, they recommend that you put chunks of the cabbage in the blender with water, and turn it on low for just a few seconds, and then drain the whole thing - it worked pretty well. I love my Vitamix, it gets used pretty much every day. Beth in Maplewood > > can you shred or grate zucchini and cabbage in either one? Guest guest
I have a Vitamix. Love it and as it was already mentioned it has so many options with the additional pitcher that kneeds dough and grinds grain for flour. Not a sale but Wholefoods often has a kiosk demonstration set up and if you purchase from there you get an extra year warranty, free book on whole foods, spatulas, and cutting boards. I think it ends up being about $100 in free gives. Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
There is a group called Vitamix Enthusiasts, the moderator is a demonstrator and she sells to the general public at discount, her website is vitamixlady.com. There is much to learn in the group and it is an active and friendly group. In the past there has been discussions Blendtec vs. Vita-Mix, some people have both. I have Vita-Mix and I think it is the best for me, totally trouble free. Sandy > > I have a Vitamix.
