Guest guest
Hi wulfe well I dont think its a huge difference if you buy and grind your own but what I DO think CAN make a difference is how the dandelion root and mt are grown,, also the reason that you might not get as much out of the whole product like that is that they have found that the type of MT that is the best is the siliphos bound and that you have to buy...but I'd give it a little time and see if you dont start feeling better and if not, I'd go back to the supplements,, which ones where you using,, Maximum milk thistle or liver essentials or some other brand? Yes the steroids will drop your immunity and is hard on the liver that is fighting hep c... I refuse to take them for my sarcoidosis that was caused by hep treatment.. but will use steroid drops in my eye,,, but Im not going to relapse because of taking prednisone,, nope,, let me know how you do with the making of tea, I know many others who do the same thing, I always thought it was good but then when I read about the siliphos bound MT, its supposed to be 8-10times more effective than simple slymarin... there is a great site you can read about the two forms at www.doctormurray.com and then clickin on articles, wulfemom <wulfemom@...> wrote: I can buy bulk dandelion root and milk thistle seeds at the health food store and grind it at home. It's a lot cheaper than buying supplements. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this? Is it basically the same as taking the supplements? I've been doing fairly well since late winter, and about two weeks ago, I started feeling rotten again, which coincides with my switching to whole herbs vs. supplements. It might just be a coincidence because about two weeks before that (a month ago) I was put on steroids for my seasonal asthma. I blame the steroids for lowering my immunity.
