I absolutely LOVE this approach, . The world would be a much better place

if we approached many conflicts between people with this same perspective.

Re: Raw Milk scares Grandmother

Hi Tifanie!

I have dealt with a similar situation.

ere is how I perceive it:

My children's grandmother loves her grandchildren and wants them to be safe.

er concern is genuine and comes from her heart.

I have gently educated her about me view on raw milk, especially through the

ecent situation with the Hartman's, giving her my two cents on all of it.

I've explained that we all take risks, and this is a risk I choose to take in

he name of good health. I also choose to drive my children around in a car,

hich has a certain risk attached to it, and I feed them raw spinach and let

hem walk barefoot and breathe city air. My children are extremely healthy,

appy, and smart. They have never needed hospitalization or even antibiotics or

ther medical care. She's noticed.

Over the years she has started to come around and I have heard her use my lines

ike " we all take risks " , and it makes me smile. My mentality has worn off on

er, and she is starting to see that it's not all that bad.

Be gentle and see her through eyes of love, think of her with peaceful thoughts

nd hope for her to see your good intentions. Thank her for loving your

randchildren enough to stand up for what she believes is best, but remind her

hat you are doing the same.
