Guest guest
We thought we had 4 buff chantecler hens but in the last week we have realized that two or three of them are roosters! We'd keep them and breed them since they are very rare (listed as critical with the ALBC: American Livestock Breeders Conservancy. We got them from a breeder near Bemidji listed with the ALBC) but living in St kind of precludes the idea of a rooster crowing every morning My husband thought they would make fine dinners but since they are so rare we wanted to see if anyone would want to have one to breed into their flock- they come from Canada, are very cold hardy, and excellent dual purpose birds. Please email me off-list if you are interested. We are selling them for $8 each. Natasha
