I do not know you personally Will, but I have a devout belief that true skill

cannot be licensed, nor can it be taken away just because a license is. In the

comments to the article, someone mentioned that their aunt's dog died after you

treated it with wheatgrass, but that their own dog survived 16 years of

conventional veteranary medicine, and they think this proves their point. What I

see is someone who does not know how a body works, and has mistaken surviving

for living. I hope you do not take the article too seriously, as I truly feel

that it was written because your previously published letter hit some nerves.

Thanks for posting the link, I would never have known otherwise!

Thanks, KJ, and all!

Seriously! If I didn't have people around like you all, I think I'd have just

up and moved away from this state years ago. It's true. But now, at the end of

the day, what comes to me is some sort of fantasy wherein a mythical and wise

ethical being comes down from the heavens and scolds the vet board saying " You

fools! You have punished an innocent person and, worse, you have allowed the

truly evil ones to continue on! " Wouldn't that be the greatest thing of all? Ha

ha. We can always hope.

SECOND BEST is my awareness of the fact that those who truly know me, know the

allegations are false and the persecution is about something else. In this case,

really, it's " culling the herd " of those who are making the profession look

greedy and blind to cruel and toxic practices (which make up the majority of

what passes for conventional veterinary service). And, for those who don't know

me, well, it's up to them to decide accordingly, I know I have absolutely no

control over it, other than to do the best I can do every day.

If I've learned ANYTHING at all from these " teaching moments " it's that not

everything you read in the newspaper is true! Also that judgement comes

oh-so-easy from far and wide, including those who basically know nothing.

Always remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Thanks sincerely, and love to every one of you out there,

Will Winter
