A month or so ago, I made a salad with pine nuts. Not sure if that makes a difference in those affected or not though, as they do not think it is a pesticide issue. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else comes across it and thinks they are going crazy because everything they eat tastes like soap. My symptoms lasted 10 days. It was initially so bad, I could barely stand to eat. It was so annoying, I will likely never eat a pine nut again. I did let the grocery store know and filed a complaint with the MDH.
