This impressive California reaction to oppression is the only way to go! They

are declaring their Independence Day!

I see our local situation in the exact same way, we need to continue what we

were doing (only BETTER!), get the trucks rolling asap, and keep the good summer

food moving. Alvin has eggs!

I see this whole recent turn of events not as a " problem " ... merely an

" opportunity " . Our time has never been greater, our visibility never better, our

cause more galvanized. With the LEGAL DEFENSE FUND lawyers guiding us, it's time

to start doing business again. If we waited for the MDA or others to tell us

what to do (nobody there knows what to do) it would be too late.

It was long past time for the WH to move towards on-line ordering, CSA-style

buying and delivery to drop sites and homes anyway. The Trad Foods warehouse was

never designed to be a " store " , nor can it be turned into a store. This " nudge "

is exactly what's needed to get out of the rut of forcing people to drive to the

warehouse. I've projected that this simple change of venue will yield a 10X

increase in sales volume, as well as a 2X to 3X increase in vendors.

It's time to get the trucks rolling! In the very short term contact Alvin (see

the database) for home delivery, or for drop site delivery. If you are not

already a drop site, and if you have even a tiny space, think about doing it.

There is something to do for every single person interested in freedom to access

to farm fresh local food.
