Guest guest
Figured my subject line would stimulate a laugh or two! For a while after my move " up north " my husband was able to enjoy " real milk " just as he did when he was a boy growing up on a dairy farm. However, after experiencing a wide variety of allergic type reactions (to what we did not know), he saw a naturopath, and had the intolerance testing done. He had a number of short and long term reactions....but two of the most severe were dairy and eggs (the naturopath stated these were some of the worst numbers she had EVER seen). So we began the process of trying to eliminate as much of this as we could from his diet. While not immediately life threatening, failing to avoid these items when possible, does increase a variety of symptoms. The one " good " substitute we were able to find was a truly " dairy free " margarine made by Crystal Farms. It was reasonably priced, and my butter loving husband had actually learned to like it. Recently it was " discontinued " at our local Cub, and upon visiting the Crystal Farms website, it was not even listed as a " current product " . HELP!!!! Do you have any suggestions for another brand, or where I could find something similar? Many things supposedly " dairy free " still contain whey or some other milk or egg byproduct. I need to avoid this as much as possible. Thanks so much! Anita
