A suggestion: It seems that the time has come that as a group we request from the listowner that she either appoint a moderator to watch over things or change the list to moderated. It was obvious from the first email that things were going to deterioriate and could have been caught immediately. M.> > > Well Maybe it should have been caught a while back, but I have been having a few problems with my 4 boys with autism, two of whom have been really out of control lately. So I have not been reading every email. I have said on many occasions, if there is a problem, email me privately and I would take care of it as soon as possible. I said on many occcasions that if a problem continued I would moderate and if a problem is brought to my attention, I would ban the member causing the problems. It is much better and easier that way than emailing the whole list that you will have to demand me to do something. We are not two here. We are adults. A simple email and it is taken care of. If it was so obvious that it was going to deteriorate from the first email, then maybe you should have emailed me immediately instead of waiting for it to deteriorate and email the list to gang up on someone. I am happy to moderate if the problem continues. If there is a problem email me and I will take care of it. Sharon(List owner)

You did email me last time and suggested moderating. i did say to email me anytime there was a problem but I do not recall saying I did not want any moderators. What I recall saying was if the problems continue I would begin to moderate. I also banned the person in question after your email. Sharon(list owner)

Sharon,

What I suggested was that since you do not have time to moderate that

you could (not should) ask someone to do the moderating for you. To

this I got no response other than you did not have time to moderate.

Since you did not address the subject of having someone else help you

I took it as though you did not want help.
