Carissa's Hurricane Update

We've only been getting a lot of wind and rain. Rain downpours at times, but not too heavy. The wind picks up only when it begins to rain. It's pretty much cool inside and out.

We never lost our power, but we did lose phone capabilities for those of us that use Sprint. My service is both Sprint and Earthlink and so from 9a this morning until probably 130pm, we lost phone service. Oh, my cell phone is around this place somewhere, lol

Anyway, being on the West coast of the state has helped some and we are a good distance below Frances' eye! I should be good for the rest of the day.

I got some cleaning done in my room and got so sore and stiff I had to lay down and made the boys take a nap. It's hard to sleep with water dripping from the roof, lol My windows rattle from the wind, but it's all good!
