Wow, it sounds good, but it made Karac so aggressive that he had to be hospitalized for several weeks!!

That is exactly what Ricky's psychiatrist told me...that Abilify would help all the symptoms that he was having...aggression, etc. Well, the month of July was awesome, since then, life has been pure hell. I am about done with psych meds. The meds he has been on, in my opinion, has caused even more regression and problems, rather than the false promises that this one will really help him.

J had an "ok" day today. We went shopping and he tapped me a few times but nothing bad. It is wild how a med will help one person and make another go wild. Lois

My son was on Albilify and after only 1 week he was going "crazy"....very aggressive, screaming, throwing, aggressive toward peers....just absolutely phsycotic!! We took him off but he has not been the same since. He was also on Risperadol before Abilify and he had a simialr raction. No more psychiatrists for us,....he is now under the care of a neurologist and doing good so far.

I'm glad J had an "ok" day. Karac did too. It was sunny here in Dallas and Karac wanted to ride bikes, but his tires need airing and DH didn't feel like messing with them; so we colored and watched the Dallas Cowboys. It wasn't much of a game.
