Dear Ones,

Please, please don't post this dangerous advice to wash moldy colonies on this

List again. It;s not fair to the LIst and our fellow brewers.

Some have cut moldy scobies open and found mold inside after washing, although

they appeared mold-free on the outside.

Aren't we in enough danger of the FDA putting us out of business already without

somone giving them an excess by getting ill or dying from mold? Do you want this

LIst banished altogether by the FDA?

Codex may do it anyway, and we may have to go underground and brew without

sharing the kind of needed advice we get on this List.

Mull it over and make the right decision for all of us.
