Guest guest
Ugh! Short story (or at least I will try). In January, I had two really beautiful scobies going. I got divorced, moved, started working SO much.... I forgot about my scobies! (I know! BAD MOM!) I put a lid on my gallon jars and put them in a dark cupboard to take care of at a later time (I was hoping a week). Well, life got so hectic and really just FORGOT! However, while preparing to move AGAIN, I found the jars. I had each scoby in a gallon glass jar with a plastic lid on it. The jars were about 3/4 full and the recipe I had used to make the tea was fully organic and I was so enjoying my tea. Well, now the jars are about 1/2 full, the scobies look THICK but very healthy. I see no mold or spotting on them at all. But these suckers are THICK! WOW! So, my question... can I go ahead and restart the process of making my tea? Are my scoby friends still healthy? What about the tea in there? Can I drink it? Should I save enough only to get started again and dump the rest or... DID I KILL MY FRIENDS? HELP! --
