Hello , hang in there with the med trial. Three to four weeks is not

very long for an SSRI though I know it can seem an eternity. The med that

ended up working well for our dd, after trialing three others, did not

provide much relief until nearly the two-month mark. SSRIs typically don't

reach full effectiveness for a number of weeks *after* reaching the full

target dose, so if you are gradually titering up the med, it can be even

longer before you see the med's full effect.

It's so hard to have patience with this process since meds are typically

started when the child and the whole family is in acute distress. I hope in

a month or so you have good news to report!
