Dearest Kathleen,

What a terrible tragedy!! My prayers and my heart are with you and yours!!!

Please keep us posted.

Your forever friend, tricia

-- Please PRAY

Hi all,

My 21 year old son tested his limits to far and tried to hop aboard a moving

train, fell and accidently grabbed a high voltage wire the supports the

train. He is holding on by merely a thread right now and we won't know if he

will make it for 2 weeks time. He is 70% burned and in the Temple ICU on a

ventilator of course. Please pray for my son.

Love, Kathleen

Dear Kath; of course you and your family will be in our prayers that

your son makes a full recovery. Please feel free to call if you

would like to visit or just need an understanding person to listen.

President Bush has declared Friday a day of prayer for the hurricane victims.

Please join together with other Americans in asking that God give us all the physical and spiritual strength to work through this crisis and rebuild.

Please join in the prayer for the residents of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama. Grant them the patience and strength as they deal with the aftermath of Katrina.

Remember...there is power in prayer!!! Please pass this on to everyone on your mailing list!!

Hi all,I'm getting ready to head out to family court. s father (and I use the term loosely) has decided after 3-4 years that he wants to see . My stomach is in knots. doesn't know, and I won't say anything to him until I have to. He is at that stage that the absent parent is great, so I'm not wanting to push it.Thanks

Hi ,

I just got home and it was postponed until Dec. Since I am among the unemployed

I am eligible for a public defender. I took care of that this morning and also

filed for confidentiality of my address since I don't trust his father. I also

call him " the donor " .

The one good thing that happened this morning is that the lawyer who represented

was there and the judge asked him to do it again. This man is wonderful.

Even when I had crap lawyers provided for me, he always did right for my son.

The best part is his best friends son has Autism, so he understands what it is

about. was in pre-school with the boy, so I have seen him in the past.

just turned 11 in Sept. I did ask him if he would want to see his

father. This was after I got the court papers. He said yes because he wanted him

to see how big he had gotten. I also told him that it may come to pass that a

judge will ask him who he wants to live with and he said " MOM " so that eased it

for me a bit. I just worry that the beer and the " crack " will get his dad again

and I don't want any where near it.

We are survivors of domestic violence, and all I want to do is make sure my son

is safe.

>

> , I can totally relate.  My son's father, who I call " sperm donor " all

of a sudden decided he wanted the court to decide child support and to have

court ordered visitation.  Up until that point, things were fine.  He was paying

me out of pocket and saw Ricky twice a year, his choice.  He lives about 1000

miles away, so coming here wasnt convenient.

>

> When I went to court recently to gain full custody, after Ricky had lived with

his father for 3 months (long story for another time), the court wouldn't give

me a lawyer.  I had to pay for my own.  Maybe different states do different

things. It is good and bad that all of a sudden he wants to see RIchard.  You

have to be wondering why now.

>

> I will keep you in my prayers today.  How old is ?  it seems that the

absent parent is always put on a pedistal and that they are better.  Until they

are around them for awhile, the child soon realizes differently.  At least mine

did.  He doesn't ask to live with his father anymore.
