Thanks for the help! I got to searching the message archives and found

a whole list of dev. peds and psychologists! I keep seeing Dr. Rubin's

name, so that is a good sign.

Thanks again everyone. :)

And Dr. Pakula IS female (Amy Thornhill Pakula), which was your preference (or was that another). We use her and think she is wonderful.

Hello all!!

New here to your fine group. Been doing a ton of reading on Kombucha and am

awaiting my

very first scoby.

In the meantime, I'd like to experiment using the GT Dave's product. I have 2

bottles of his

original formula (nothing added) and have heard you can perhaps start a scoby

from it.

Not sure if this is accurate info or not. If it is, could anyone possibly

enlighten me to the

proper proportions? I've never made any type of Kombucha tea before, so

instructions

befitting an extreme newbie would be greatly appreciated. I know to use good

quality green/

black/white (or blend of) teas, and I have organic sugar. I'm just not sure how

much of

everything I should use (water/tea/GT Dave's/vinegar??).

Sending thanks in advance for any kind assistance and information.

ohhh... also .. Happy 4th!! :-)
