I take something called Wobenzym. I started taking it at the end of July,

2007, on the advise of my daughter.I have a fatty tumor in my left upper arm

which I had removed in 1998 but it returned. When my BP goes up it pains me

terribly, giving me electric shocks as well as aching me terribly. Also, when

I bump it I get an excruciatingly painful electric shock from it.

has studied with herbalists from various parts of the United States

during an advanced Herbal Apprenticeship with Rosemary Gladstar. During one of

her study weekends she learned that chymotrypsin was very good at dissolving

the sort of tumor that I have. I know I will spell it wrong but the tumor is

called a swhanoma or something like that. Basically it is a tumor that is

growing inside the covering of my radial nerve. The pain travels from the

tumor down to the area around my thumb. Because chymotrypsin is an enzyme

looked at all the enzyme formulas to find the one that had the most amount

of chymotrypsin in their product. That product was Wobenzyme.

I've been taking it for a year now. I got the ones that are enteric coated.

Not only does it keep my arm from aching but it also has the added

advantage of taking away my lactose intolerance. I am not nearly as gassy when

I eat

beans now, either. The aches and pains all over my body have decreased and

I recuperate from vigorous exercise quicker. Also, although my tumor has not

disappeared it does seem to be smaller while I am on the Wobenzym.

Last July I ordered a bottle of 800 pills through the Internet. That bottle

was $97. While I was waiting for it to come in the mail I went out and

bought a bottle of 100 tablets. When I ran out of everything a few weeks ago I

decided it was a good idea to go completely off the Wobenzyme to give my body

a break for a week. Turns out I didn't have money for new stuff and then,

(Thank you Lord), found the original bottlewith some tabs left in it!!! Yay!

That will hold me over until I buy a new bottle of 800 caps. I was off for

about 10 days I think instead of a week and BOY did my arm start hurting and

had increased aches and pains all over my body! OH MY! Also I just realized

that I was not thinking clearly which I THOUGHT was because I ran out of low

dose aspirin but now I'm thinking it was the lack of enzymes. Hmmmmm....Now

I'm thinking I probably don't even need the aspirin if I'm taking the

kombucha because didn't I read somewhere that it thins the blood?

If you decide to take any enzymes make sure you build up slowly to the

dosage you feel best at. Otherwise, you, too, will became a human gas machine.

What I did was take one cap a day for a week, then two for a week, then up to

the three that I now take. I keep thinking I will increase to more tabs by

taking another three later on in the day but have not done that so far. I

take the caps on an empty stomach in the morning with my thyroid and high blood

pressure meds. The directions tell you to take 2-8 tabs 3-5 times daily

depending on the severity of the injury, on an empty stomach, with water or

juice. Continue for 1 week or until symptoms are resolved but I take them year

round.

I think everyone should take enzymes but some of you may disagree with me.

I think the probiotics in the kombucha along with the enzymes in the

Wobenzyme have helped me considerably.

I compared the Wobenzyme ingredients to the Vitalzyme that someone else

mentioned. I've put in bold the ingredients that both products seem to have in

common. I am going to order the clear capsules this time and see if it makes a

difference.

Wobenzyme contains pancreatin with protease ( combination of proteolytic

enzymes, chiefly amylase, trypsin, chymotrypsin, lipase, elastase, and

peptidase

which have the same action as the enzymes made by your pancreas) , papain,

bromelain, trypsin, lipase, amylase, chymotrypsin, & rutin

The ingredients in Vitalzyme, which are: Proteolytic enzyme (protease),

Serrapeptase, (Serratia peptidase), Bromelain, Papain, Amla (Emblica

officinalis), & Rutin (a flavanoid)

I think the amylase in the Wobe and the amla in the Vita may be the same

thing.

You can buy clear Wobenzym at this website right now for $89.97 with free

shipping! They are out of the enteric ones.
