Guest guest
Hi MArge, I've just been reading everyone's contributions to the " no Coke " parade - are we piling on? I was interested in one person's post about drinking sodas at a low temperature. When I was still drinking Diet Coke, I always had the glass (actually a 16 oz mug) filled to the brim with ice and kept it iced until the liquid was gone. Now that I drink mostly water, I find that what comes out of my refrig. filtered spigot is a perfect temp. Not even tempted to ice it. I have no clue as to why this is. BTW, a year ago, if I had heard all this stuff, it would have fallen on deaf ears. Guess like everything else, you have to be ready to hear before you can hear. Good luck! Some have suggested leaving a coin in coke and see what happens. I have actually poured coke in the drain to open it. I will now try some Vanilla Coke in the toilet, since I don't like it much. Am i drinking Draino? Ha. Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.

Guest guest
I too was hooked on diet coke. I liked the deli kind, with ice. (not canned or bottled) I didn't have much pop at home. Every time I went to town, I had to have one of these, with ice. When I finally quit, I tried drinking some regular coke, and just didn't care for it. Now I am free from that NEED for pop. I drink our own well water. But I don't like it cold or iced. I pour a half gallon container, add my real salt, and drink from there, room temp.
