Guest guest
I have now been on Wellbutrin for 3 weeks; 1 week on 150 mg and 2 weeks on 300 mg. I still feel pretty fatigued and down. I am also weaning myself off of caffeine. Because of my sleep problems and anxiety, my doctor thought it would be good to wean myself off the caffeine. I am sick of feeling " sick " . Do I need to be more patient with the Wellbutrin, and has anyone experienced " caffeine withdrawals " ??? Thanks!!! LKS (to Sandy & ALL members) OCD stress theory Sandy and all parents in this forum, I was on 300 of wellbutrin along with 150 of zoloft. I started on 150 wellbutrin a year ago and discovered anxiety was still an issue. Zoloft is an antidepressant, but from my understanding, it does have anti anxiety properties. I know it sounds like a lot, but I do not feel drugged up and it beats living in dread and worry. I personally was born with a family history of chemical imbalance, so it is chronic in my case. Our bodies are very sensitive to the effects of stress, so if you are dealing with excessive stress, the chemical balance can easily be shifted as a response mechanism. I am very open with my " imbalance " and find that sooooo many people are having difficulty dealing with the stress of society and responsibility in this modern world, which is comforting to say the least. I used to be ashamed of my inadequacy for dealing. I have always been a proponent of alternative meds and believe that docs
Guest guest
Hi LKS, I only drink one cup of coffee in the morning. My friend who drinks alot of coffee said she gets headaches if she goes without. I am on wellbutrin. Only 150mg though. It made me feel anxious and I had trouble sleeping so I never went to 300. I am now weaning off it and am going to see a different doc. (My obgyn prescribed it) It just wasn't right for me. It also makes my heart beat funny sometimes. I know alot of caffiene can give people the jitters, so weaning off of it is a good idea. Going slow should help with the headaches too! Good luck and keep us posted.
