It took at least a year and was worked into his ABA program. Every day one of the therapist pushed him round and round on our patio. I don't know if he even had his feet on the pedals all the time. He didn't like it and he had to be positively reinforced for doing it. Then suddenly one day out of the blue it just took and he started riding on his own. Now he loves riding the bike and doesn't need training wheels. Oh, it took years for him to learn to use the brake. He would just stop himself by putting his foot down. I think he was about 15 when he learned to use the brake..

I am so thankful that we stayed with it because it is something Iwe enjoy doing together.. Love and blessings, Pat K
