Guest guest
Hi. I'm a new member. Have been watching and learning here, waiting until I possibly had something to contribute. Aha! I did a bit of web research about KT and RxMeds. Found that if grapefruit or grapefruit juice was contraindicated by your Rx then KT would be as well. I believe this would affect some heart, rheumatoid arthritis meds and possibly blood pressure. Best advice already given: check with dr., but could save you a bit of time to know about the grapefruit link. I bet it has something to do with shifting blood alkalinity levels. Be well. Best, Margaret (the one in California who used to live in England, as opposed to Margret in this group who is in the U.K. :-) > > I'm contemplating trying kombucha, but am concerned that in its > detoxifying role, it might detox the prescription drugs right out of > my system. Guest guest
Hi Margaret, May I ask where you got that info? I stopped one of my heart meds several mos. ago that said no grapefruit juice, but my PCP recently was talking to me about starting it again. I don't think I will start it again, but want the facts. Thanks, jan > > Hi. I'm a new member. Have been watching and learning here, waiting > until I possibly had something to contribute. Aha! > > I did a bit of web research about KT and RxMeds.
