Guest guest
My son has been in the same class as his friend for the last 3 years. I have always been very open about my son's autism. His friend also has autism, but they will not tell people. It is as if they are trying to pass as NT, which I do not really understand. It took 27 invitations before they would like him come to our house to play. But they invite our son to their house to play. My husband thinks we should not let our son spend so much time with this little boy anymore. I disagree. I do not think it is the child's fault how the parents' act. I think the vibe we are getting lately is they are ashamed of having a son with autism and do not want to tell anyone they do not have to. Please get me some opinions. Do not worry, nothing offends me anymore! Thank you, Muriel
