I let him out 20 minutes later, he had dug up the carpet in the doorway. TWENTY minutes, that's all. Damned cat HAS to be in the middle of everything, Mr Spyke can't go 10 minutes without someone telling him how cute & smart he is. If I didn't know better I'd say he has a self-esteem problem but he just wants to hear what he already knows. Foote goes into the stairwell, but acts like theirs monters out there...My 2 toms who I had for yrs never stepped foot outside..I still miss the 2 of them. I lived with that cat for longer than I've lived with any human & when I had to have him euthanised it hurt more than I can say. If Spyke lasts half as long as Sandy I will consider myself a very lucky lady. I take Spyke out sometimes on a leash & he does just fine until a bus or a truck comes along. He thinks they're catniverous & he's taking no chances - if one goes by I'm likely to find myself wearing an interesting fur collar & a bunch of fresh wounds.
