I made sure I " de-tailed " that one before I launched it, but that's no

Um... what do you mean by " tails " ? The stuff at the bottom, or

are you seeing something else? I kept the stuff added by , is that

what you're talking about? (see the portion below your message)

Virginia.

No, adds a lot of stuff in transit, this is yards and yard of pure

" Gibber " i.e. it's not even Gibber(ish).

I mean pure unadulterated GIBBER, see sample below:-

It looks like this-->

#ygrp-mlmsg table {font-size:inherit; font:100% ;}

#ygrp-mlmsg select, input, textarea {font:99% arial, helvetica, clean,

sans-serif;}

#ygrp-mlmsg pre, code {font:115% monospace;}

#ygrp-mlmsg * {line-height: 1.22em;}

#ygrp-text{

font-family: Georgia; See what I mean?

Here in Texas as sun tea jar is usually a gallon jug of some sort

(some are manufactured with a plastic spigot} you fill with water,

drop in your desired amount of tea or tea bags, set all in the sun

until of the desired strength, pour in a glass, add ice and whatever

sweeteners and lemon if you wish. Sit down take a long cool drink and

say aaaahhhhhh!

K

but still not a clue as to what a " Sun Tea " jar is?

I think it's kinda funny that you have all those tails. Yes, it's

annoying, but humorous too, in its own way. Your struggle is what I

get a chuckle over, mostly. Sorry to be laughing at your expense, but

you are welcome to return the favor any time you wish.

>>>Chortle away flower, I just got the idea it was annoying people and couldn't

get shot of them. I'm sure there are folk come to our shop for the entertainment

value.

How to brew: fill a jar/vessel with water. Add tea bags (more than

you would use for hot tea) stick in the sun. (That might be where you

Brits may run into a snag).

>>>Yea verily, I think I said in No.1 post if I start now I might just have some

ready for August bank holiday (or words to that effect)

Wait till it looks like tea (a couple of

hours). Serve over ice. Lemon/sugar/ mint sprigs optional.

>>>HOURS, you say? Huhh. Just 4 laffs I'll try it once and time it.

So you can brew and serve your tea poolside, and not have to go inside for a

pitcher. Couple of drawbacks or so there. 1. Ain't got no pool. 2. Size of

garden notwithstanding it would be as much use as a skating rink as a pool

With you the rest of the way, but can't see how to " funnify " it much.

I can post pictures if you want to see my set up.

I hope I can put this in without affecting your sensibilities...

Beth, are you brewing it the continuous way or the other way? I was

thinking I'd use it for either.

Bev, when you used it for continuous did you do ok with it (the sun

tea jar)?

Beth, are you brewing it the continuous way or the other way? I was

thinking I'd use it for either.

I am using it for the brew it, bottle it, drink it... repeat cycle.

The non-continuous way. The other way just seems too complicated

somehow. I think you'd need a bigger jar for the continuous brew to

really work, but I could be wrong. I just found 3 more jars at the

GoodWill Store yesterday for 2 bucks apiece. Gotta love it!

Hi

Same here. It looks like the Continuous Method is somehow more complicated: How

much sweet tea should one add? Shouldn't it be in proportion to or the exact

quantity what was drawn? What is the cut-off point for continuous

fermentation. 2.5 Gallons? 5 ? more?How consistent is the taste? It seems one

must keep track of how much KT you add in order to add the right proportion of

sweet tea, lest the brew move to a different state; is that correct?

Let us know
