Guest guest
Yes, because hibiscus seems to brew much quicker, you have to start taste testing after the fifth day. I'm lucky, as I don't mind it tasting a bit vinegary but if you don't, you need to keep an eye on it. Wouldn't it be nice if we all could meet up and have a kombucha party! We could all bring a bottle or two and taste each other's brews. Pangie (UK) -- Re: update on hibiscus brew Hi I must add to that that they seem to brew faster than " regular " KT.. My last batch turned too sour in less than 10 days.. Drinkable but lacking some swetness The other batches WOG, etc are not yet ready...2 more days... I'm always pleasantly surprised how quickly they form. Pangie from Swansea in the UK --------------------------------- Sick sense of humor? Visit TV's Comedy with an Edge to see what's on, when.
