So My question is, if this is being published by the AMA, why are our doctors

still prescribing Statins?

Zoe, I think your question was probably rhetorical but here's what I think:

1. Because they are brainwashed to only prescribe pharmaceutical drugs.

Allopathic medicine doesn't allow for other options normally.

2. Because Big Pharma pays Big $$ to wine, dine and schmooze our doctors with

incentives to continue to prescribe their drugs. (my DH is a former

pharmaceuatical salesman and I used to work for Astra Zeneca). It's all about

the MONEY.

3. Because statins decrease inflammation leading to cardiac disease and the

majority believe that plus atherosclerosis are what cause heart attacks and

stroke.

I hope soon they will begin to accept the new truths about cholesterol, but I'm

not holding my breath.

Re: Re: colesterol

Hello imgayleim,

But of course !!!! We all knew that now didn't we? Well we surmised it

even if we didn't know it. LOL. This is great news and a good piece of

research on your part.
