Why Doesn't My Husband See the Problem?

Danny flipped out at swimming yesterday, all cause his swim instructor told him

to hold his hand a different way so that he would get more power in swimming.

He started yelling at him and stuff - told him out of the pool. Which is

what we have said all along - he was crying to me and I told him that I really

wanted him to get back in the pool and follow the directions from and that

we did not hate him and that we weren't mad at him (have no clue where this is

coming from). He said I was the problem so I left the pool area and called

Hubby and told him what was going on and he said go back and check on you

never know what Danny will do - hello is this the same man that says it's just a

growing phase? I went back in and said he took him out of the pool cause

he couldn't handle him and that he was sorry. I told I was sorry and

hoped he would stick it out while we worked with Danny to stop the outburst.

said I have never seen him like that he was just way over the top and out

of control and aggressive - he was glad that he was not in the pool with him. I

am worried will quit he says that he will stick it out with his buddy but

he will not get in the pool with him till he calms down. - Can't blame him a

bit.

Also saw my shrink and told her what was going on and she said that I should get

him to a psychiatrist right away cause if he does hurt someone intentionally or

not DCFS can take him away and charge us with neglect cause we didn't get him

the help he needed - great just what I needed to hear. Haven't told husband

that one.

I am so stressed it's not even funny - I love my boy but he has to start

behaving I don't care if he is being a boy he can't go on the way he is it's

going to put a big hurt on this family if he does.
