Hi,

My story is like many others here. My daughter is 10. She has been

hiding her OCD for at least two years. School starting being readlly

difficult for her this winter/spring and I finally discovered what was

going on. She has had certain rituals (the goodbye and goodnite

ritural 100 times until it feels right thing) for many many years. She

mostly has obsessions and she is doing much better since putting her on

St s Wort and Passionflower. It has also helped her a lot to know

it isn't her. These children are very bright. She has been telling me

for a year things like " My brain thinks.... " Obviously she knew she

wasn't in control over it.

Ok - for my question - we have two main struggles - one is getting

places on time and the other is her helping around the house. Having

her to any cleaning is a huge chore and always ends up with her on the

floor crying or stomping off crying. The St s Wort has helped this

a lot also, but it is still a struggle because she doesn't want to

touch anything dirty. Anyone have any suggestions for that one? She

has worn plastic gloves for years (her doing). I do believe she needs

to help out like everyone else. She complains more when it is

something like washing dishes or cleaning out the car, but even

sweeping the floor gets to be a big deal sometimes. She is not neat

person at all perhaps because she doesn't want to touch it -
