Guest guest
Dear Dick: I have not heard from you as to how you want the test to be run, but here is what I tried. Conditions of the test. 32 oz water, add 30 drops of 3% H2O2 slowly while watching the Hanna ORP meter. There was no change in the ORP readings. To my taste buds, the water tasted strongly of H2O2. I think that is quite a change. Anyways, ORP meters from what I have been catching up on are very unreliable for a lot of reasons. I found a good source on this, and will post it for you tomorrow. It is interesting that they state that next to ozone, H2o2 is the next best thing to raise ORP in water. Yet you got no idication of that. Guest guest
Jim, Take a look at this site. I think there is a lot we don't know about ORP. I don't know if the stabilizers in the peroxide would give the erroneous reading you got or not, but something isn't right.
