Guest guest
I have suffered from increasingly severe hay fever and dust mite allergies for the past 10 years - allergies that persist ALL YEAR ROUND. About 2 months ago I decided that enough was enough and that healing myself of my allergies was a top priority. So, I went to see a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor. He discovered, through a stool test, that I don't have enough of the necessary intestinal flora; and that is surely connected to my allergies. He gave me some probiotic drops and instructed that I should take them every day for the next year, as well as cutting out white bread and eggs. I was surprised and disappointed that he didn't tell me to cut out sugar. I firmly believe that refined sugar is 100% unhealthy and that all doctors should inform their patients of this fact. Sorry, I digress. Anyway, he said that I probably wouldn't notice any results for another 3-4 months or longer. I got into KT because a friend of mine said it helped a lot with lessening sugar cravings. So, I started brewing and drinking kombucha about one month ago. Soon afterwards, my allergies almost completely disappeared! After years of being known as The Tissue Lady I can go through life without a packet of tissue in my pocket. I can breathe again!!! I had no idea that kombucha might get rid of my allergies. Actually, who knows if the disappearance of my allergies is due to KT. Maybe the drops started working early or it's a mixture of both, along with diet. But, if my allergies are a symptom of an imbalance in my intestinal garden and kombucha is good intestinal garden food, then it makes sense. Just wanted to share. Has anyone had a similar experience? Guest guest
Hi EveryOne, Thank you for sharing....many people have reported that their allergies have disappeared after starting KT. I am one of them! Hopefully other people on the list will also share the changes they have noticed after starting KT. KT has many benefits for many people and although not everyone experiences all of the same benefits, many do....
