Guest guest
Dear Bev, Thanks for posting the info on the Essestial Oils my daughter uses in making her homemade skin cream. I don't think she adds more than 3 or 4 oils at one time to the 3 vitamin-creme mixture. She just sent me a large bottle of lavender which I have always wanted. It didn't smell quite as I had fancied, but, when she uses it with the others in her cream, the aroma is pleasant and distinctive. I can't wait until she sends me another jar. I can't get my St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer Creme at my CVS anymore. It was very inexpensive and it worked. Do you think there is any way of adding Kombucha to her cream combination? LOve. Guest guest
Hi Marge and EveryOne, You could add some of the liquid KT that you let turn to vinegar or blend some Kombucha Colony and KT in a blender and add that to some of the cream. However, I would recommend trying either one with the KT in a separate jar from the rest of the cream so that if you don't like the result you still will have most of the cream untouched.... You could also use the Kombucha Vinegar mixed with water or aloe vera as a skin tonic first and then use the cream as a moisturizer on top of that. There are some more ideas that I developed for using Kombucha for Skin and Hair Care on my website at: http://users.bestweb.net/~om/kmi/skin-hair.html Enjoy!
