Guest guest
But the school is being so nice to me, when I called to make an appointment with the Social Worker to go through the school and his trapper folder. We talked for almost an hour on how to get ready for tomorrow. Get this, the receptionist asked me if I had Dan's lock and I said yes it's in his backpack she said good make sure he brings it tomorrow. I said already taken care of and then I said I just hope he's on an end locker (he has a lot of trouble with people being in his space, now grant you his space is very wide - working on that.) The receptionist said well his homeroom teacher is Mrs. Thurman - I was so hoping for this - she is the reading teacher - never met her personally but anybody who requires a book a week is a winner in my book, (Hee Hee I made a funny - I digress). Well then she the receptionist said his locker is on the corner by his classroomm. Oh they listened for once I am so excited - it might work it just might work. Plus I am meeting the LD teacher who is his case worker at 2:30 today she has his schedule and is going to go through his trapper and we are going to organize it acording to his classes and then she is going to follow his schedule for him. Yipee Skipee Oh I am winning this year I love it and the best thing is the world is that he has PE as his last class of the day -- so in my humble opinion he can have PT in place of PE and call it a day - I am so excited. Now if I can only get PT into his IEP. Called and left a message for the Case Worker on that - she is going to love me. Sharon
