Guest guest
Hi Angie, It is no surprise the doctor wouldn't consider the vaccine as a possible cause of Breeze's seizures. Even after my nephew convulsed, collapsed, and turned blue (he stopped breathing) after his vaccine, his pediatrician boldly stated it was not the cause. Well....it was. He had a life threatening allergy to eggs, and the vaccine contained a trace amount of egg. The doctor was fully aware of the egg allergy risk in the family, yet he had no idea eggs were in the vaccine. Sara Update on Breeze Hi everyone, I wanted to send a update on my niece Breeze. Last time I posted she was in the hospital having seizures that started shortly after she received her vaccines. She is home now still having "episodes" everytime she wakes up. Her legs tremor a lot and the daycare provider says it looks like she has regressed about 3 months. Breeze has lost most control over her head and she doesn't coo like she did or smile as often. I walked around outside with her today she just stared up into the sky most of the time like she is in her own world. Her parents are so scared cause the doctors don't know what is going on. They take her back to the Neurologist tomorrow he mentioned putting her on steroids, this makes me more nervous. Mom asked him today yet again could this have been from the vaccines he said absolutely not. They must be getting paid to keep their mouth shut or something. How can he say no when on the paper for one of the vaccines she had gotten said possible side effect long term seizures. I have no idea where to turn to begin to get her help but we need to do something now. I am going to call my son's DAN doctor in the morning. God willing she will talk to me about this and point me in the right direction. If anyone has any suggestions or information please share. Guest guest
Angie, I doubt they are being paid to keep their mouths shut...I do know that my MD our pediatrician has a child who is profoundly affected by Autism......she had lots of seizures...he waited on some of her vaccines not because of Autism, but because if a child has seizures or is susceptible and gets a fever, it makes it worse...hence the reason we need less vaccines and need to get them more spread out, with no combination vaccines.....as well as with Tylenol or with Motrin before every single on so fever does not get high....I agree that we need to do something about the vaccine schedule... I'm so sorry about Breeze...I will continue to pray for her...There are wonderful MD's out there who are good and who would admit that a fever can cause a child susceptible to seizures to have them and big time, and there are doctors who would WAIT because of that fact....at least that is my experience...don't care whether it's a popular notion or not....some MD's are very, very good, and care deeply and are not in on any conspiracy theory..... Just my two cents e From: "angiebenjad@..." <angiebenjad@...>HDOTherapyforAutism ; autism Sent: Wednesday, August 5, 2009 2:34:25 AMSubject: Update on Breeze Hi everyone, I wanted to send a update on my niece Breeze. Guest guest
You would think that a doctor would have the responsibility to check that out. That is why I think it is so important to have as much knowledge as possible about such things. Guest guest
Thanks e I agree I am sure there are some wonderful MD's out there. I was referring to the neurologist that was testing and supposed to be treating Breeze from the hospital she was in for 3 days. Not the pediatrician. Thanks for the prayers I will keep everyone posted.
