Guest guest Posted July 31, 2005 Report Share Posted July 31, 2005 My 7 1/2 year old daughter suddenly began exhibiting OCD behavior about 2 1/2 weeks ago following two bouts of Strep throat (treated with amoxicillin and augmentin). Current strep test is negative so the doctor won't give anymore antibiotics. Will not do an antibody titer since he expects it to be elevated. Has anyone heard of resolution of any of the behavior when treated with antibiotics even with a negative strep?
